Hawkes, The Story of the Stone ch.1 :

Long ago, when the goddess Nue-wa was repairing the sky, she melted down a great quantity of rock and, on the Incredible Crags of the Great Fable Mountains, moulded the amalgam into 36501 large building blocks, each measuring 72 feet by 144 feet square.

卻說那女媧氏煉石補天之時，於大荒山無稽崖，煉成高十二丈、見方二十四丈大的頑石 三萬六千五百零一塊。
