ok啦

散場時,我問同行的友好看嗎?他唯諾一番,吐了句ok啦。嗯,ok的定義,在我們族群裡,是很一般了。唉,真的難服侍呀。


ok啦意味一般, 恐怕今天已是全香港的習慣了. 程度之分, 除了聽語氣, 看表情外, 就得看那個助語詞.

ok啦意味一般, 再往上(褒)有OK喎, OK嫁, OK呀, OK丫. 往下(貶)有OK o既(要扭音), OK囉. 當然還可以配上程度副詞, 算OK, 幾OK, 好OK, 勁OK. (論褒貶配搭, 千變萬化, 還得高人指點才是.)

可是我聽到人家說OK啦之類的東西, 總有點不自在. 一來這類萬靈藥,百搭詞用得太濫, 會使人失去遣詞用語的能力, 慢慢地水土流失, 變成語言貧瘠. 二來曖昧太甚, 言不由中, 跡近取巧, 幾同虛偽----雖然含糊其詞或巧言佞色, 是自我保護的良法.

人在江湖, 有時也身不由已, 或者撒賴說......近墨者黑.

OK啦.

OKAY is not really OKAY.

For the most part, it's just a lame lazy substitue for any meaningful discussion or opinion.

But then again, we all sometimes need something purposely vague and purposely meaningless to OK our way out of some undesirable situation.

Another rather ironic use of OK is some Windows dialogue box. It's never really OK to me when it totally crashes my system. (In all fairness 2000 and XP have been very stable)

samuel, 無禮與否, 看情況啦. 只是模棱兩可這下最煩, 那即是OK得來尚可再去, 還是OK得來不會再去呢?

LCL, 提起 Windows Alert box 那些OK, 真係感觸良多.

另, 你說得對, 一句OK真是any meaningful discussion之紅燈. 轉話題的auto cue.
