溯洄從之

據說台灣人俗稱google做古狗. 古狗 對 雅虎 (還有搜狐), 又幾襯喎. yahoo, "也好".

google, 我本來猜它變自 goggle :

goggle /l; NAmE l/ verb [v] ~ (at sb/sth) (old-fashioned, informal) to look at sb/sth with your eyes wide open, especially because you are surprised or shocked (OALD)

得華利指正, 才知道原來實情是這樣, 特此鳴謝:

看了小奧的Google谷歌宣傳動畫, 知道google取名 "谷歌". 忽發奇想: 把 Google 譯做 "枯槁". 論讀音(孤稿)[PS:枯讀夫不是姑, 一直弄錯,噢!], 天依無縫吧! 不過肯定google不會用.

取名谷歌, 雅是雅, 然而用做動詞, "等我谷歌下呢個字先", 老是怪怪的. (總不及 "等我google下呢個字先" 順耳. )

譯名一事, 按圖索驥, 照本宣科, 固難服眾, 即使別出心裁, 匠心獨運, 仍是眾口囁囁, 永無寧日. 除非福至心靈, 眼前一亮, 如見西施捧心, 驚為天人, 方能息議. 然而鳳毛鱗角, 萬中無一. (廢話一番, 只因技癢---順口雌黃. :P)
