And God completed on the seventh day
the task He had done.
And He ceased on the seventh day
from all the task He had done.
And God blessed the seventh day
and hallowed it,
for on it He had ceased
from all His task that He had created to do.

到第七天，天主造物的工程已完成，
就在第七天休息，停止了所作的一切工程。
天主祝福了第七天，定為聖日，
因為這一天，天主停止了
他所行的一切創造工作。

和合本：

到第七日，上帝造物的工已經完畢，
就在第七日，歇了他一切的工，安息了。
上帝賜福給第七日，定為聖日；
